People get bored when they have to read chunk of words without any appealing visual to relate to the contents. Writing with just plain words will make your blog less interesting. You can actually do better when you use visual presentations like video, pictures, or infographics.
Images usually stick longer in reader’s minds. Think of how many times you watched a movie that you really liked, you never got tired of watching it. For each time you watch again, you discover some story lines you never took notice of initially.
According to researched complied by 3M, the corporation behind Post-it Notes, visuals are processed 60,000 times faster than text, which means you can paint a picture for your audience much faster with an actual picture. It’s no surprise then that HubSpot’s social-media scientist Dan Zarrella found tweets with images are 94% more likely to be retweeted than tweets without images.
Some people might get tired of reading a whole long piece but they never get tired of watching videos and looking at images that explains in a brief way what the writer is trying to transcend.

Visual contentss capture the readers’ senses so easily. Better still, you can keep people glued to your site when your visual contents are brief and captivating, get addicted, and then invite more people to watch and share their views.
